Get your daily dose of vitamins with this healthy, colorful and delicious Camu Camu Strawberry Banana Carrot Smoothie Bowl. It requires only 5 ingredients and literally 5 minutes to make! Made with strawberries, banana, carrot, plant based milk and my newest discovery – camu camu powder.
Have you heard of camu camu before? If not you should do some research asap! I discovered it not a long time ago and it’s life changing. Camu camu powder has the highest food-based form of vitamin C. One teaspoon of the powder contains over 1000% daily intake. That’s around 9 times more than one orange! As we all know, it’s super important to provide a right amount of vitamin C. It’s a great antioxidant and an essential building block of collagen, the structural material for bone, skin, blood vessels and other tissue. I’ve been supplementing vitamin C for a while now, and I’m super excited to swap it with this super food, by adding only one teaspoon of it to my daily smoothies or oatmeal.
I hope you will enjoy this easy and delicious smoothie bowl, made with simple and nutritious ingredients. Don’t forget to top it off with extra berries and homemade granola.
