INGREDIENTS YOU NEED TO MAKE THIS EASY BEET HUMMUS:
chickpeas, cooked or canned
beet (steamed or cooked)
lemon juice
garlic clove

Ingredients
BEET HUMMUS:
1 cup chickpeas, cooked
1 small beet, steamed or cooked and cut in pieces
3 tbsp tahini
3 tbsp lemon juice
1 garlic clove
1 tbsp water for the consistency, if needed
1/4-1/2 tsp himalayan salt
3/4 tsp cumin
1/4 tsp chili flakes
TOPPINGS:
watercress or parsley
edible flowers
Instructions
- Place beet in small saucepan, cover with water and cook for 25-30 minutes or until tender.
- Put all the ingredients (beside water) into a food processor or high speed blender.
- Blend until smooth and creamy. Add 1 tbsp of water to thin out if needed.
- Taste and adjust seasonings if needed. Add more salt, lemon juice or oil.
- Refrigerate in airtight container (it will be good up to a week) or use immediately.
