I’ve been dreaming of making a good vegan banana bread for so long, but it always seem to be easier to just add eggs knowing the bread will come out nice and fluffy. I gave it a try, a few times actually. And I finally got the most delicious and easy eggless whole wheat banana bread recipe! Perfect if you’re vegan or run out of eggs!!
THE BEST EGGLESS WHOLE WHEAT CHOCOLATE CHIP BANANA BREAD INGREDIENTS
Whole wheat flour
Flax eggs (2 tbsp flaxseed meal + 5 tbsp water)
Ripe bananas (1 cup mashed)
Avocado oil
Coconut sugar
Apple cider vinegar + baking soda
Pure vanilla extract
Chocolate chips (sugar-free)
HOW TO MAKE BANANA BREAD WITH NO SUGAR AND EGGS
When baking, I love using as much natural ingredients as I can. Banana bread has usually enough sweetness due to ripe bananas, but you can sweeten it up more with these natural sweeteners:
coconut sugar – natural sugar made from coconut palm sap. it’s less processed and has a lower glycemic index than regular sugar!
birch xylitol – naturally extracted from birch wood. It’s 100% sugar-free! it tastes very natural compare to for example stevia.
maple syrup – it contains nutrients and antioxidants. it’s still high in natural sugar but much better for you!
sugar-free chocolate chips – if you would like to reduce sugar to a minimum, consider using sugar-free chocolate chips in your baking goods!

HOW TO STORE THIS EGGLESS WHOLE WHEAT BANANA BREAD
Wrap leftovers tightly in plastic wrap or plate in airtight container and store at room temperature for up to 5 days. You can also freeze the bread for up to 3 months.

Eggless Whole Wheat Banana Bread made 100% whole wheat, vegan and naturally sweetened. It requires just one bowl, simple ingredients and 10 minutes to whip up! The only vegan banana bread recipe that you need in your life!
Ingredients
1 3/4 cup whole wheat flour
2 flax eggs (2 tbsp flaxseed meal + 5 tbsp water)
2 ripe bananas (1 cup mashed)
1/3 cup avocado oil
1/3 cup coconut sugar
1 tsp apple cider vinegar
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 cup chocolate chips (sugar-free)
Instructions
Start with making flax eggs. In a small bowl, mix flaxseed meal and water. Let rest about 5 minutes to thicken. Preheat oven to 350F and lightly grease a bread pan with oil.
In a large mixing bowl, mash the bananas. Mix in flax eggs, oil, coconut sugar, apple cider vinegar and vanilla extract.
Add in flour and baking soda. Mix dry and wet ingredients together. Fold in chocolate chips.
Pour into prepared pan and bake for 50 minutes to an hour or until toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
