- Pulse until they become a powder.
- Transfer to a jar and keep it for whenever you need some!
To make these oatmeal flour banana belgian waffles I used this double Belgian waffle maker which allows you make two belgian waffles at one time!! I love that. It makes the whole process so much faster!
There’re so many options for toppings and you can really choose whatever you like. I usually go with fresh fruit, nuts and maple syrup. Lots of maple syrup. To make them even more fancy and delicious, add a little pat of grass fed butter!

Ingredients
2 cups oatmeal flour
3 small ripe bananas
2 eggs, room temperature
1 cup almond milk
2 tbsp avocado oil (coconut, grapeseed oil etc works great too)
3 tbsp maple syrup
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp apple cider vinegar
1 tsp cinnamon
pinch of pink salt
Instructions
- In a bowl of standing mixer or mixing bowl, mash the bananas. Add eggs, almond milk, oil, maple syrup, vanilla extract and apple cider vinegar.
- Add oatmeal flour, baking soda, cinnamon and pinch of salt. Stir until just combined (don't overmix). Let the batter rest for about 8-10 minutes. Oatmeal will soak in the moisture and batter will become thicker.
- Meanwhile, preheat your waffle iron. Using a measuring cup, pour batter onto the heated waffle iron. Let them cool on a baking sheet or cooling rack. Don't stack them on top of each other.
- Repeat with remaining batter and serve with toppings.
