Roasted Turmeric Cauliflower Bites are roasted to perfection and filled with warm and rich flavors of turmeric and cumin. The roasted cauliflower is served with Vegan Chipotle Aioli and make such a great appetizer and snack. You can also add it to tacos, rice bowls or sandwiches! ROASTED TURMERIC CAULIFLOWER
I love roasted vegetables because they’re such a great addition to any meal. Plus they’re so simple to make! Just toss some veggies with oil, spices and roast! I usually roast a large sheet pan of veggies and use it for my meal prep. Roasted cauliflower is one of my favorite vegetables to roast. Especially this roasted cauliflower with turmeric and cumin because it has so much flavor!
HOW TO CUT CAULIFLOWER INTO FLORETS?
Using a sharp knife, slice the cauliflower head into quarters and then cut out the cores, leaving just the florets.
Break the large florets with your fingers. Use a knife to cut the larger pieces into smaller florets.
HOW TO PROPERLY WASH CAULIFLOWER
All the vegetables and fruits are usually covered with either chemicals, dirt, worms and other insects. Yes, even if you can’t see it! That’s why washing vegetables and fruits the right way is so important. My favorite way of washing vegetables and fruits is using 3 parts of warm water to 1 part of vinegar, plus about a teaspoon of baking soda. Baking soda combined with vinegar works great in removing pesticides. Soak the vegetables for about 10 minutes and then rinse to remove the vinegar taste.
To clean the cauliflower, first is cut in the florets and then place in the large bowl. Add warm water and soak for about 10 minutes. Rinse under cold water.
HOW TO ROAST CAULIFLOWER IN THE OVEN?
Preheat oven and line a baking sheet pan with parchment paper. That helps cauliflower not to stick to the pan and makes such an easy clean up.
Cut cauliflower into florets and place it in a large bowl. Add avocado oil, turmeric, cumin, salt and pepper and toss to combine. Make sure all the pieces are nicely coated with spices and oil. Spread cauliflower out in an even layer so the florets aren’t touching.
Roast until golden brown, stirring once. You can roast them shorter or longer depending how crispy you like them!
OVEN ROASTED CAULIFLOWER COOKING TIME
Depending on what temperature you’re using. If you like crispier cauliflower, roast it at 450F for about 25-20 minutes. Check it after 25 minutes to see if you like it more charred.
HOW TO REHEAT ROASTED CAULIFLOWER?
You can reheat roasted cauliflower in the microwave, stovetop or oven! If you want it to be crispy, heat it in the oven at 350 degrees F until warmed up
WHAT SPICES TO USE FOR ROASTED CAULIFLOWER
You can use any spices and herbs you like! Really anything. I love roasting cauliflower with turmeric and cumin but there’s so many options. You can use garlic powder, paprika, smoked paprika, thyme, parsley, oregano and s much more! Fresh herbs also work great.
IS ROASTED CAULIFLOWER HEALTHY?
Roasted cauliflower is so good for you! Cauliflower contains many nutrients, it’s rich in fiber and antioxidants. Roasting cauliflower with healthy fats such as avocado oil adds great benefits too. Plus the added turmeric contains anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.

ROASTED CAULIFLOWER
1 cauliflower head (about 1 1/2 to 2 pounds)
3 tbsp avocado oil
1 tsp turmeric
1/2 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp pink salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cut cauliflower into florets and place it in a large bowl.
- Add oil, turmeric, cumin, salt and pepper and toss to combine. Spread cauliflower out in an even layer so the florets aren’t touching.
- Roast for 25-30 minutes until golden brown, stirring once.
- Serve immediately or let it cool and transfer to an air tight container. Serve with vegan chipotle aioli.
