INGREDIENTS FOR HOMEMADE GUACAMOLE
Avocados – make sure to select ripe ones
Anaheim pepper – the chile pepper is roasted and then diced. It adds the perfect kick to this guac! You can substitute it for a jalapeno pepper.
Red onion
Roma tomato – these are best tomatoes for guacamole since they’re not so juicy!
Cilantro
Lime, juiced
Salt
HOW TO MAKE RESTAURANT STYLE GUACAMOLE AT HOME
Cut Anaheim pepper in half and remove all the seeds. Broil for about 5 minutes until charred. Wrap in a foil and let it stand for a few minutes. Then peel off the skin and dice it. Let it cool.
Meanwhile, mash the avocados. Add onion, tomato, cilantro, lime juice, salt and cooled Anaheim pepper. Serve with tortilla chips.

Ripe avocados are usually dark, almost black in color with some hints of green. These are the best to use the same day. ¼ cup red onion, diced
1 roma tomato, diced
¼ cup cilantro, chopped
juice of 1 lime or to taste
1/2 tsp salt or to taste
