Description

Take you grilled cheese to the next level with this Caprese Grilled Cheese! Made with gf bread, fresh mozzarella, tomatoes and basil.


Ingredients

4 slices of bread – I used this gluten-free bread

2 roma tomatoes, sliced

4 fresh mozzarella slices

basil leaves

sea salt flakes & black pepper

extra virgin olive oil for the pan


Instructions

  1. Layer tomato slices, basil leaves and mozzarella on a slice of bread. Season with salt and pepper. Cover with another slice.

  2. Preheat a small skillet with a drizzle of olive oil over low heat. Place sandwiches on a pan and cook until golden brown and until cheese is melted, flipping halfway through.
