These Maple Cinnamon Baked Pears with Pecans are one of the simplest ways to enjoy fall fruit. Fresh pears are halved and baked in a buttery maple cinnamon sauce until tender, then topped with pecans coated in the warm, caramelized juices. The result is sweet, nutty, and full of cozy fall flavor.

I love serving them warm over thick greek yogurt for an easy breakfast, afternoon snack, or simple dessert. With just a handful of everyday ingredients and very little prep, this is an easy seasonal recipe to make when pears are at their best.
WHY YOU’LL LOVE THIS MAPLE CINNAMON BAKED PEARS RECIPE
Simple ingredients – Fresh pears, butter, pure maple syrup, cinnamon, vanilla and pecans are all you need.
Naturally sweetened – Maple syrup adds sweetness and a rich, warm flavor.
Perfect for fall – Cinnamon, vanilla, buttery pecans, and tender baked pears make a cozy seasonal combination.
Versatile – Serve over Greek yogurt for breakfast or enjoy with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for dessert!
RECIPE TIPS FOR THE BEST BAKED PEARS
- Choose the right pears. Use pears that are ripe but still firm enough to hold their shape during baking.
- Adjust the baking time. Firmer pears may need a little longer, while very ripe pears will soften more quickly.
- Don’t waste the sauce. Spoon the buttery maple juices from the baking dish over the pears and yogurt just before serving.
- Make it your own. Try adding a pinch of nutmeg or cardamom for a slightly different fall flavor.
- Serve warm. The contrast between warm, cinnamon-spiced pears and cool, creamy yogurt is especially delicious.

HOW TO SERVE BAKED PEARS
These baked pears are delicious served over plain Greek yogurt for a simple breakfast or snack. For dessert, serve them with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, or a dollop of mascarpone.
You can also add a sprinkle of granola for extra crunch or drizzle a little extra maple syrup over the top just before serving.
HOW TO STORE BAKED PEARS
Store leftover baked pears and pecans in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat gently in the oven or microwave until warmed through. For the best texture, store the yogurt separately and add it just before serving.

Maple Cinnamon Baked Pears with Pecans

Description
These maple cinnamon baked pears are one of the simplest ways to enjoy fall fruit. Fresh pears are halved and baked in a buttery maple cinnamon sauce until tender, then topped with pecans coated in the warm, caramelized juices. The result is sweet, nutty, and full of cozy fall flavor.
Ingredients
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp maple syrup
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
pinch of sea salt
1/3 cups pecans, roughly chopped
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400°F. Slice the pears in half lengthwise and scoop out the seeds and core with a small spoon. Arrange the pear halves cut-side down in a baking dish.
In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, maple syrup, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and a pinch of sea salt until combined.
Pour the maple butter mixture over the pear halves, making sure each one is coated. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the pears begin to soften and are easily pierced with a fork.
While the pears bake, add the chopped pecans to the bowl with any remaining maple cinnamon butter and toss to coat. If little sauce remains, spoon some of the warm juices from the baking dish into the bowl.
Scatter the coated pecans over the pears and return the dish to the oven for another 8–12 minutes, until the pears are tender and the pecans are fragrant and lightly toasted. Baking time will depend on the ripeness and size of your pears.
Spoon the warm pears and buttery maple juices over thick greek yogurt. Finish with the toasted pecans and an extra drizzle of maple syrup, if desired.
